The fan blades are off axis or something so they rub against the sides of the case and create a terrible rumble. Luckily, before installing it, I connected the unit to a 12-volt battery to give it a test run. I would be very annoyed if I installed it in the roof and then discovered it. There isn't much room between the blades and the body, so any tolerance saving can create problems, so be careful. Too bad, because otherwise it looks like a good fan and is quite powerful, even if its performance is reduced by friction. I particularly like the design of the lid with double stops for the vent lid, unlike the original in my camper. I have ordered a replacement, I hope the first one was an accident.
