I bought these because my cat has had chronic diarrhea for 4 months. I thought it was IBD, but it's actually lymphoma. In any case, I assumed that my cat had a vitamin B12 deficiency. A cat that needs an extra push ate 1 and didn't come back. Another cat (who literally eats everything) eats it as a reward. I bought them myself hoping to find a treat that would be easy to feed my cat and packed with vitamins. Coincidentally, my vet recommended this a few weeks after I bought them. B12 shots are probably more effective, but they can help increase levels. However, this may be of limited value for cats who have trouble absorbing nutrients from their diet.
