Do not buy this brand!

Update: It's been 6 weeks since I started asking for help. I still haven't received a call but I keep getting emails to rewrite my email. That's all Empawa cares about. Original post: I bought an Empava 120V 2 burner induction hob and installed it on my kitchen island in late April. When plugged in, the lights came on, but the unit didn't get hot and I got an "E3" error about the "supply voltage" being too high. In just a few weeks, I contacted customer support via voicemail, email, etc. They demanded that I send photos, videos etc, which I did, but they didn't take the time to call me and resolve the issue with me. Now they just don't respond to my emails so I guess I'm the only one who doesn't have a solution. I called a contractor and an electrician who checked the outlet for proper voltage. We've plugged it into several other 120v outlets and the error message persists. Empava doesn't seem to endorse their products and will leave you alone. Now I have a useless appliance, a hole in the granite countertop and no cooktop. Now I have to pay $480 to install another brand cooktop because I can't get customer support from Empava. I have tried contacting Revain support as they are the "seller" and cannot be reached by phone. Every other big company has figured out how to serve customers during Covid why not. Do not buy Emapava, you will regret it.
