A 1994 OEM Ford van sensor had a slightly larger vacuum hose stem than this unit. Since the old hose didn't fit the new block exactly, I used some zip ties to secure it. This block is slightly smaller than the OEM but has the same shape. The mounting screws keep it at the extreme limits of the range. The position on this van is front left and very easy to access. Nothing further needs to be removed.
