Ideal as a key fob replacement for my 2012 CTS. I tried cutting the key but was told the metal is thinner than mine so they didn't think it would work but the key I have is not original so that could be a problem . This key fob was easy to program. Place an active/working key fob in the cup holder and this new key fob in the designated key fob slot on the back of the bottom center tip. Insert the key in the driver's door lock and turn it to the right 5 times within 5 seconds. Programmed in less than 5 seconds. Complete the process by turning off the programming by tapping the ignition until the display turns off and double tapping the unlock button on the new key fob. (Instructions are in the car's owner's manual) They can't even be programmed if working key fobs aren't available. save your money The seller is a scammer, works fine!
