Review on LOSTAR Engine Cooper Countryman 11127646552 by Andrew Kay

Good value for money

After my MINI was done with the original valve cover in about 100k, the original MINI valve covers seem to break about every 6-10k miles/1 year. Without a root cause analysis by the dealer to determine why they are failing (dealer overtorqued?), if this coating only lasts a year it will pay for itself well. The dealer wants $461 for the OEM part and $320 for the labor to replace the valve cover. Guys, it's just a valve cover. exchange! It's kind of a PITA, but I've only done this job once. Make sure you find the correct torque value (7ft*lb?) and tightening order.
