A friend bought one of these and it was perfect, looked just like the pictures. We almost immediately bought one from the same seller I know as a great seller and got one that didn't lay flat because the hinges were bent the wrong way. Shortly after, another person showed us a new one that was better than the one we received, but still had a bent loop. These are good inexpensive shoes but the quality varies too much and I wonder how long they will last before they start to warp. I do not recommend this product even though it looks so beautiful in the promotional photos. Good luck finding a cross that suits your needs. I would just be too embarrassed to give it to anyone. If the loops were a bit thicker, maybe they would hold their shape better.
