Review on UV Protection Photochromic Sunglasses for Men and Women: Ideal Bike Glasses by Hesham Peltier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A+ For mountain bikes, good for sports

I use them primarily for mountain biking, so this review is based on trail riding where you'll be frequently in and out of shaded areas and observing the terrain is paramount. I've done about 10 rides with them so far and they are amazing! They darken fairly easily but I never seem to notice with my eyesight, at the same time I never seem to notice how harsh the sun is so clearly they work. They're not the lightest of goggles, but they offer excellent clarity and a great field of view. Yes, they do fog up like most goggles when you stop and stop blowing air through them, but on the move they're clear as day. They have a turtlewax/polish smell that is just beginning to fade which is my only complaint. I wish they were a little darker, but honestly that hasn't been an issue so far (if your helmet has a visor, it probably never will). Well, if you're out all day and the transition between dark and light isn't an issue, I think a dedicated dark lens would be better, but given the price and the fact that it comes with a hard case, I can . Don't give them a thumbs up, nothing but +!

Pros
  • Robust workmanship
Cons
  • The list will be long.
