Review on Lippert 335852 Straptek Tension Technology by Timothy Jimenez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product. Best in Tow Straps

This makes my least favorite part of camper packing easy. To get enough tension on the weight distribution bars I actually worked on a jack and struggled to get the maximum tension on the tracks. Two weeks into a three week trip, I sent them camping. Installation was easy. There were no instructions in the kit but there was no point. There is a short video on YouTube and instructions on the Lippert website. The straps have a hook end instead of the triangle shown and a loop is sewn into the end of the straps to prevent them from being removed from the ratchet. I found it easiest to place the hitch on the towball and tighten the straps before lifting the tongue jack off the ground. I noticed less swaying when big trucks passed me on the freeway. Lippert says it's not necessary, but I continued to use my friction stabilizer after installing the straps. I wish I had found these sooner. They're well made and priced for a ridiculous weight. I can't remember the specs, but it's on the labels sewn into the straps, and that's more than any indication.
