Can't charge iPad in case

Very pretty and the leather is very well made. It's a lot heavier than my old carry-on suitcase, but I wouldn't want to pack it in my carry-on. There is too much black plastic around the charging port and the cable will not connect properly. I have to take my iPad out of the case to charge it. It's just not worth $40 for such an inconvenience. money thrown away.
