I use this with my 2017 Macbook and it's excellent. I have not installed any drivers or other software. The thing just worked out of the box. This differs from similar products I've used with Apple computers which required manufacturer software and in one case just never worked. The gray color looks amazing when connected to my Macbook. The gray parts are also made of real metal. The short cable provides good strain relief at both ends. Finally the price. At the time of writing this, this is one of the cheapest items of its kind. For Macbook owners, I can't think of a better choice.
