I received this TireTek gauge and tested it with my old gauge (Accuguege; it's almost 15 years old) and a brand new Longacre 50417 Racing tire gauge which I also have ordered along with TireTek from Revain. I tested them on two different days with the same tire. My old gauge and TireTek gave me essentially the same reading (32 pounds), while the Longcare gauge gave me 33 to 33.5 pounds. TireTek, like my old Accuguge, keeps readings after it's taken off the valve; this is a very important feature for me. In short, the TireTek gauge is a definite winner because it gives accurate readings, holds the readings when removed from the valve, and is so well built for years of use. The long-term care product has a stiff hose, requires (at least for me) 2-3 tries to seat the valve properly to get an accurate reading (you may lose some air in those 2-3 tries), and doesn't last Readings which in my case is a big minus. I paid more for Longcare but got less. So, TireTek is definitely 5 stars.
