Quality control issues

I hate writing this review as a huge fan of Lifx I'm so disappointed in you. A spoiled apple can really ruin a bouquet. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am an IT expert and have a company network at home. The web is 100% redundant and totally unrealistic for 99% of people. I have a 2.5G fiber connection to the network. I have a dedicated network for my smart devices, separate from my home and guest networks in the house. Why am I explaining? I've seen people talking about connectivity issues. With all the bulbs I have, none have ever had a problem or failed. I have whole floors of my Lifx house. I recently bought four packs for $60, the bulb ages very quickly. I thought they were a more affordable option. Many corners have been cut. No color options, no light spectrum wheel colors. Well, 99% of people realize they don't. I'll tell you what you'll notice, you'll notice that you can't turn on the light. You will find the light connects and after 5-10 minutes the light is no longer detected. To make matters worse, the light has an access point in the same room. I see bad reviews with new eyes. I genuinely believe a lot of the negative reviews are written by people trying to connect flashlights to 5G or have faulty flashlights but don't know they are faulty. I couldn't even get a refund or new lights because I didn't check the lights right away. So when everyone is hooked and notices the problems, nobody cares anymore. 30 days have barely arrived. The moment you reset it that many times, it becomes a regular lightbulb. It connects fine for about 5 minutes, then the bulb just kills itself. It gets stuck in the position it was in. Either it's stuck and you can't turn it on without flipping the switch, or it's stuck and you have to flip the switch to turn it off, but you need to reset it for it to work properly. There is a lot of automation and routine in my house. Imagine telling Google to turn off all the lights in your house, and one light never goes out. You won't know until the next day. Or imagine you are lighting a room in your office and it is dark. It's really frustrating. My Google Home and HomeKit settings keep looking for a light that connects but disappears. I suggest looking at other Lifx lamps.
