They look exactly like the photos above. And they are well made. Inside is a rubber gasket to seal the valve stem. You don't really need this as Schrader valves are pretty explosion proof to begin with, but they are there to make the valve even safer. I use them on a bike with long valve stems. They sit low on them to cover most of the stem. They sit much lower on the stem than standard plastic caps. This makes them appear more robust. The thread fits perfectly with the valves. I didn't have to let them rotate. They can be made entirely by hand. They are more likely to have problems if they are exposed to too much road salt. The water is probably good. But water and salt are a bad combination. If you live in snowy areas, this addon is only for your car in summer. In the south they are probably good all year round. I used to have aluminum caps welded to the valve stems and it was a big pain in the croup. Therefore, do not use them in wintry weather conditions. I personally bought them for my red aluminum fairing bike. They match perfectly and look great. And since I rarely ride my bike in the snow, they'll probably last forever.
