I read all the reviews and these looked like they would fit great. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall and weigh 123 pounds. I usually wear size 4 or small for women and medium for juniors. I'm older but love the Soffe junior cotton home shorts. I thought it would be a little better and maybe I could wear them for errands. They are MUCH narrow. My fault for ordering XS. They are NOT big! I don't like her cut. The length is ok, so if I went up a size, they would be too long. The waist is very long. I like shorts around the waist and just below the navel. They come down to the belly button, so going up a size would be ridiculous. The waistband is over 3 inches wide and very tight. On the positive side these shorts are very soft and the front pockets are nice! The fabric is also slightly sticky, unlike cotton. They just didn't work for me, but I hope these details help others.
