It's hard to find casual shorts that aren't too long, too short or too tight. They are perfect for exercising, lounging or even as a swimwear cover-up.

Size chart says XS has a 25-26" waist but I have a 28" waist when unstretched (see photo). I'm 4'10" tall, 90 lbs, 26" waist. Although they are quite loose, they are well made, the fabric is soft and they are very comfortable so I will be wearing them at home.

I like that they are soft, have deep front pockets and are a good length. They're not short shorts, but they're a few (6?) inches above the knee, so that's fine. I don't like that they have a 2 inch elastic around the waist and an unnecessary drawstring. Cool that you can't stretch the lace, but since I didn't like/need it I had to cut it off.

They fit well on the hips but are too big in the waist. They are so big at the waist that the drawstring is useless. I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and weigh 150 pounds. My waist is 28 inches and my hips are 43 inches. Medium might fit better but I'm worried they won't flatter the hips. The fabric is comfortable. These shorts are best suited for someone who does not have a sharp waist to hip ratio.

I like it a lot. This is a really soft lightweight fabric good for summer. I needed comfortable shorts with pockets and this is exactly what I need. The pockets are big enough to hold a phone. I'm 5ft 2in, about 125lbs and medium height. Nice loose fit, not too big but not tight either. They reach mid-thigh. length but that's ok. If you're taller, they'll be almost short shorts, but maybe that's your thing.
