I don't know why it was so difficult to find comfortable shorts but these shorts are perfect! I don't like short shorts that are too short (you can't bend down or sit down) or short shorts that are too long (you look like you're about to play golf). It's the perfect length for a sporty look, but still allows you to move without holding your shorts to keep them from riding up too high. I love the semi-loose fit that I have and the waist belt is incredibly comfortable. I'm 5'9" and 125 pounds. I ordered a medium as I prefer a looser fit but a small would be fine if you don't like baggy pants like me. Great quality for the price! I ordered a pair, then I ordered all the other colors because I really liked them. I only wish they had more colors because I would have ordered more!
