I am a professional chef and have used these Taylor pins for many years. I don't know what happened, but they aren't the same as before at all. Complete garbage. The entire top of the device popped out when I pulled the battery tab. I put it back in place, but I couldn't put it back on properly. I thought it was ok, but it was wrong. The first time I used it, the top detached again and pulled out the wires. I know it's only $7 but it's still junk. Also the buttons changed and the scabbard changed. look elsewhere I'm sorry Taylor, you can't cut corners. Do it in the US and just take more please.
