The strap is approximately 1.1mm thick. Its width is approximately 1.285 inches (32.6 mm). Very flexible material as it is not thick. It is NOT elastic. He could probably lift a static load of 150 lbs; I haven't tested this. It could be used to attach luggage to the roof of a car, tie a box tightly for transport, or do some other similar simple task. I would not use it to tie a motorcycle to a trailer. I was going to use this strap for a noiseless sling on a rifle, but I prefer a thicker material (more body) that will hold the sliders better; I will save this new strap material for another use.
