Maybe it needs to be formatted for use on a Windows PC?
I would like to warn people that they may be formatted for use on Macs or iPhones. I bought 1 to use on my windows pc and had to right click and select format. While it's possible for Quick Format to do the job, if I were you I would uncheck this box and let it take an hour or more as this will then mark any bad sectors as BAD so Windows will know you need that sector should not use. Leave the One size selection set to Default, which I think is the smallest. I'm not entirely sure what these allocation unit sizes mean, but I had trouble with them after resizing to a larger size. , you probably won't know what to do with what I just said.
