Not bad, but better and cheaper

A few years ago I bought this brand for my bulldog adult because he was very fed up with the regular cheaper food. It worked well. She lived until the age of 13. Groceries were expensive, but options were few back then, and things got a lot more expensive when the company was bought by Nestlรฉ. So 8 years later I have a new English bulldog puppy. The new world is now with the ability to do research on the internet and so on. My instinct was to return to this meal and it's $20 more expensive than the last time I bought it. It certainly reduced gas usage but this pup was literally burping 6 times a day which is very difficult to manage during training and I only fed her twice a day. I did more research and it pulls through because it contains so much corn product that we all know doesn't do anything. I switched to Blue Buffalo because of the better ingredients and it doesn't come out as often and it looks a lot firmer and it's not that fancy bright color anymore. While this food is no slouch and will help get you going for the buck, you should be using the best ingredients for the price. On this day, everyone wants healthy things, and there's no getting around selling junk and charging a premium for it. Other things are cheaper and have better ingredients.

Pros
  • HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT: An exclusive complex of antioxidants, including vitamin E, helps protect the development of the puppy's immune system
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
