I only hung the tarp so I can't comment on its durability or strength. They seem solid and think they'll pass the test for both. However, I do have one complaint about what I feel is important enough to write about. The pads were not evenly spaced. They measured from 20.5 inches to 24.5 inches and were never the same distance apart. No rhyme no reason. I know there are caveats, but eyelet placement really should be standardized, not random. Another issue, but your disclaimer said so. I bought three tarps, 8' x 12'. Two came in at 12 feet and one at 11 feet 8 inches. So, not crazy about tarp crafts, but transparent tarp materials look great.
