Review on Rowenta DW8260 Pro Master Xcel Steam Iron: Powerful 1750-Watt Blue Iron for Exceptional Garment Care by Shane Hartford

Revainrating 2 out of 5

3. Rowenta - a big disappointment

I've had Rowenta irons for 10 years. My last one expired almost 4 years later when it had a short in the cord so it couldn't go on without a lot of wiggling and fiddling. Time for a new and improved Rowenta! I upgraded to a stronger model than my old one and expected even more ironing pleasure. Out of the box this little one performed like a dream - good weight, lots of vapor and a smooth glide. It really showed up for a test drive! The next day I lit it again for even more ironing fun. Unfortunately, there was intermittent heat and no steam until I hit the steam boost button. The reviews are so muddled I guess you're either getting a gem or a lemon. We bring it back 🍋!
