own 2 weeks, sheep weighed, lambs weighed. In the first round I glued the rubber mat to the scale. It could not bear the weight of all 300 pieces. Then I ordered some steps by steps with non-slip tapes! I stuck it on, weighed 165 lambs with no problem and a few days later weighed 85 lambs, not all weighed, but weighed a few. The band held and the animal did not slip. This material is too rough for dogs but I think it will work for cattle. The scale is well made. Amazingly programmable with many variations that the seller really needs to describe in the description. There are ways to program it for very active animals or for animals that will not move. It really shocked me that all of this was possible with a limited number of buttons on the device. After weighing 85 lambs (average weight 70 pounds), the customer stepped on the scale and was amazed at its accuracy. You can program the backlight or not, auto power off or not, lots of options. I just need to find a printer to work with and I'll be hired. I removed the handle which wasn't difficult as the sheep could easily step on it with their foot. This would not be a problem for other animals. You might use it again in a week and I'll update this review if anything changes.
