This is rated for 0.3 to 2 GPM. I checked mine and it only turned on when the flow was over 1 gallon per minute. If I slowly cut off the flow it would drop to 0.66 GPM and then turn off. He's frustrated that he doesn't find the bottom below as advertised and that the resolution of the readings is so-so. As mentioned, this thing doesn't fit well and is prone to bad thread leaks. I managed to find a good combination that actually worked, but it's ridiculous that it was necessary. Watertight Gasket: First, find a 3/8 NPT male thread with a large shoulder. In my case, a 3/8 NPT plastic quick connector with a 3/8 male thread worked. Place the o-ring on the threaded side and slide it back against the shoulder until it stops. Wrap the threads with Teflon tape 20 times. The thickness of the ribbon can vary but that's how much I needed. Screw it into this flow meter.
