I've never had one of these hubs with built-in USB ports, so I decided to give it a try. It was summer and I had an extra air conditioner that needed to be plugged in along with an alarm clock, laptop, phone charger and something else. a real space saver and I don't have to plug in a real charger, I can just plug in the USB port, that's great. wonder what kind of thing. and skeptical about power management when I plug my phone directly. It's light, but heavy enough not to feel cheap or poorly made. Also, it sits properly on the floor (outlets point straight up to the ceiling) where I have another extension cord that isn't properly balanced and keeps tipping over to the side (where the main switch is) cutting off the power. my stuff. Well, if I don't deal with it, I'll be wanting to buy one of these again. The length of the cord seems good, to be honest I forgot how long it is (6ft?) and I never untwisted the cord. It has a nice velcro strap to keep the cord folded up and I left it as is so it sits nicely under the outlet.
