The compressed felt held up to repeated cleaning, recharging and reusing fairly well, allowing me to use it to the point where it became too flimsy to use effectively. The big problem with them and the reason for the 3 stars is that literally half of them (11 out of 24) had the felt pad detached from the plastic Roloc fitting. I found a gasket and glued it back to the fitting and used it to the end, but it's quite annoying.
