These smart plugs worked without any problems when I controlled them via my ehomelife mobile app. The main reason I bought these plugins was that according to the description I could control them with Alexa. Getting Alexa to recognize the devices was a little tricky at first (I had a few trial and error attempts); First I had to install the eHomeLife app on my phone and set up an eHomeLife account. I then had to enable the eHomeLife skill in Alexa (make sure to remember your eHomeLife credentials when setting up your eHomeLife account as you will need this information to enable the eHomeLife Alexa skill). After setting up each device in the eHomeLife mobile app, I had to go to the Alexa app and add each device to Alexa. While getting these devices to work with Alexa wasn't the easiest or most user-friendly process, I believe it was worth it as the price of these plugins was decent. I would only get them if you have the technical know-how and enough patience to take the time to set them up. If I had known then what I know now about how difficult it would be to set them up, I probably would have bought another brand with a better user rating, even if it meant spending a little more.
