I grew up with "potato peelers" which were cumbersome and difficult to use. My husband introduced me to these knives as he normally does the job " This is a quality knife that's easy to keep sharp with hand sharpeners. The curve makes it easy to peel potatoes or round fruit/vegetables. Dishwasher washable, no rust, no deterioration.
