I bought this for when I am working at home with my Dell Inspiron 17 7706. I also bought a 100watt USB c charger for the power delivery. It has a thunderbolt 4 port, and I believe this dock is thunderbolt 3, but thunderbolt 4 docks are still really hard to find. It took me forever to find a cheap thunderbolt dock that would drive my 4k monitor at 60hz, provide ethernet, and power delivery. I would have thought that would not be too tall of am order, but I probably looked at 50 docks and this was the only one that had both 60hz 4k support via hdmi, ethernet, and PD. If I need to, i can connect 2 additional monitors, too, but that drops all of them to 30hz. Overall, a great product. I can connect one cable to my laptop and get an external 4k screen, ethernet, and charging.***Update and dropped to 3 stars*** - I checked advanced settings and both HDMI ports are only putting out 30hz at 4k. The same monitor and cable deliver 60Hz when connected directly to the laptop, so it is the dock causing this. I am pretty disappointed, as you can read above, this was a big selling point for me in the first place. It does still deliver on being able to charge, have ethernet, and several external screens connected - but they are wrong when stating it will support 4k at 60hz on one of the HDMI ports.
