Poor battery wiring

Last summer I bought a 1200 lumen bike light from Brighteyes that uses CREE LED lights. The Brighteyes light is bright but I needed more light so I searched Revain and found these 5000 lumen bulbs. Well I figured this dual LED light should be a lot brighter than my single 1200 lumen LED. NOT RIGHT. SIGA is about 1/2 times brighter than my Brighteyes. In fact, my Brighteyes are still brighter and whiter at low levels than SIGA at high levels. RioRand will be my next light. It uses the same CREE light as my Brighteyes and the same advertised lumens. It looks the same as my Bright Eyes but at half the price. Edited to add: 11-15 I charged the battery and checked for a while. At full brightness, the battery lasted 1.5 hours. According to the description it should take about 3 hours. I read that some of these batteries are connected incorrectly so I disassembled the battery. Upon inspection, the wiring was defective. Two batteries were not connected to the backpack. The battery will now charge if properly connected. 11-16 After properly connecting and charging the battery overnight, I tested it again this morning. It's just as bright as my other light, a more diffused light, but just as bright. However, the battery only lasted 1.75 hours. I will test it with my "Brighteyes" battery pack to see if it uses that much or if it's just batteries.
