Yes, it helps to earn points. But it's very short and the coasters are at the bottom of the scoreboard. If you have a big boy (and who wouldn't drink while playing corn hole or horseshoe lol) it blocks numbers. The clips are cool but don't look like they belong on the scoreboard. Something flat that slides up and down the edge of the scoreboard would be more economical, you wouldn't need extra fixings hanging from a zip tie! (Cheap!) Take that price and add 16 inches of extra height down the center! Let me know if you take my advice to heart. I have four other horseshoe pits and will definitely be buying 5.
