This apple slicer is very sharp so it slices very quickly. It's also big enough to bypass most apples. However, after a few uses, it all falls apart into 3 parts: push handles, sharp cutting blades, and a round thing that holds those blades together every time you squeeze it. on the apple, making it impossible to pull the apple out because it's so sharp. I once got a bloody finger trying to rip pieces out of an apple! Therefore, the manufacturer must find a way to more securely fasten the cutting blades in a rounded shape so that they do not come loose.
