Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Home Mechanic Floor Pump - Park Tool PFP-8 by Jonathan Partridge

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Expected more from Park Tool.

PFP-8 builds good pressure but doesn't match the Presta valve well. Once you believe it is and give it a pump, the gauge will jump to 70psi and you'll have to try again. And again. It will probably take me three or four tries to push it against the valve, lift it back onto the valve, and so on before I can finally connect it. A pressure gauge is useful if you're blowing a road bike and need high pressure, but if you're a motorcyclist and need to know your pressure in the 18-30psi range, it's quite difficult. Generally not satisfied.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Doubtful
