Review on πŸ“» Uniden BearTracker Scanner (BCT15X) - 9,000 Channels, TrunkTracker III, Close Call RF Capture - Black Color by Brian Douglas

Carefully! There is no instruction manual.

Just received the scanner. It feels solid and I expect it to be a great radio but it doesn't have a printed manual at all. It includes a copy of their site's wiki pages as it is a "manual" - which would be nice if it weren't sparse and you didn't have to trawl through thousands of web pages trying to figure out how to do it - it is very easily. I don't need to watch any third party YouTube videos to understand how to program the scanner. I've been building my own ham radio and programming computers for 40 years, I'm not a technophobe and I'm sure I can understand this scanner. But it's absurd that it doesn't come with the right instructions. I will update this review after I find out. Two stars so far because of the lousy instructions.

Pros
  • BearTracker mobile scanner with 9000 channels, advanced dynamic memory system, short range radio detection technology and more. Compatible with Remote Head BC-RH96
Cons
  • Nothing
