I ordered these lights, followed the directions and tested them to make sure they work before hanging them on the wall. However when I put it against the wall and tried to turn on the strip it didn't work, I tried everything and it wouldn't turn on. One strip I hung on the wall didn't work, but the other did. I then tried connecting one of the strips to the other and that's the only way to get it to work. I am very disappointed that this is the only way to get it to work as it looks horribly placed as it had to be plugged in. I tried to email the seller 3 times but got no response. Not to mention that after a day the LED control stopped working and I tried replacing the battery and nothing. All in all really disappointed.
