I ordered these lights, followed the directions and tested them to make sure they work before hanging them on the wall. However when I put it against the wall and tried to turn on the strip it didn't work, I tried everything and it wouldn't turn on. One strip I hung on the wall didn't work, but the other did. These lights are a fire hazard. The day we received them my son plugged them in to make sure they were working. He played around with the remote a bit, changing colors and patterns while they were still on the plastic spool. He turned them off and left, but they were still plugged in.
