I built a Raspberry Pi radio that powers speakers via an amplifier module. Both the amp and the Pi are powered by the same 12V power supply (there is a 12VDC to 5VDC converter to give the Pi 5V). I had a lot of noise consistent with the Pi's operation and I suspected the ground loop being installed by this setup. I placed this accessory between the audio out of the Pi and the audio in of the amp and now I have absolute silence and no hiss at startup. Also, as another reviewer noted, the brand name on my packaging is Pacitic, not Pacific. The seller was Revain, not a third party, so Revain was a little surprised he wasn't buying from a genuine manufacturer. If you look at other car audio websites, you can see that Pacific is clearly marked on the packaging. I suspect a fake and doubt I have the advertised "own audio transformers" and why I bought them and not Mpow. But for my application it works.
