I noticed that the Clockwork tool has a design flaw. Another reviewer also commented on the same question. The part that pulls the ribbon is too far from the top. So you always have to start with the big clip to get to the lock. Just by looking at the tool, the manufacturer could easily shorten it by more than an inch, making it more efficient. Also, the latch is too slippery and doesn't clamp the CV band tight enough to provide good clamping tension. In most cases, the end result is a loose bandage. Very disappointed. Although the band saw works fine.
