I'm always updating my clothes to replenish my wardrobe. One thing I use a ton of (almost literally :) is rubber band, that kind of thin rubber band. Take necklines, ruffled skirts, sleeves and of course ruffles. I have a huge black cone, but sometimes, especially with summer clothes, it needs pastel shades. There are some lovely pastel colors in this range along with the base colours. It's not super strong, but the type of changes I make, I run a few rows to give both the finished look and more strength, so it doesn't matter. I would say put a treasured family heirloom on it and count on it to last forever. The price is more than fair.
