I'm from Ghana and I've always showered with it. I ordered mine here instead of getting those at home or buying them from the African market because I left mine at home when I got back to university and the African market was over. It makes my skin smooth and stretchy so you can use it on your back too. It's like a daily scrub without the little beads. This and real African black soap (which doesn't really look black but looks like brown) works wonders for your body and any pimples on your body (if you have any). It's not too hard either, so it doesn't hurt when you shower.
