Likely toxic to disposable plates, bowls and cutlery
They have a REALLY thick clear coat. Poisonous. like eating enamel. This coating makes them really durable. Note that they cannot be reheated in the microwave because of the gold metal (I hadn't planned on doing this but found it interesting as I would assume it's just gold paint).
