I am a big fan of this company and the world! I'd be hard pressed to find anything that could improve on the last gen (which was my absolute favorite light), but the battery gauge is amazing. While I've never had any battery failure issues on my previous flashlight, it's really nice to have an accurate battery percentage left so you don't have to guess. It also makes it safer to charge your phone because you don't have to worry about whether or not you're draining your battery to unsafe levels. Really great product and this light costs about the same as the previous generation. It's really nice when a company cares about their customers and safety, not just making new stuff so they can charge more and make more money. (Still brighter than most of the other lights up there.) - I forgot to take a picture of it, but the little square above the buttons in the fourth picture shows the battery life in numbers. - Fifth is downstairs where you charge the light and charge your phone/headphones. The sixth indicates that it is open. Seventh Green. Green is good, but next time I'll go for pink. Another thing I like about their lanterns: - They have really powerful mounts. The latter was great, but it didn't bounce up and down very well. This one looks better. (It's cold outside at night so I haven't driven much at night yet.) They come with their own charging cables. This is no longer the case, even with phones. The nice thing is that you don't have to buy or search for cables, you have cables that can always stay with your light. And since I have a Samsung it's good because this cable charges my phone. It's heavy, metallic, and feels like brick. I'm super clumsy and break everything, especially when I'm doing stuff at night, so it's nice not to worry about my light being fragile. one. I will miss its cool orange finish but this light is an upgrade. (Again, bet on pink for the next update in case the company reads the reviews!)
