These are good brushes, obviously not professional paint brushes, but they are good for needlework and beginners. They have soft thin nylon bristles that absorb water well and spread water well over the paper. These are thin profile brushes that are great for painting delicate areas where you don't need a thick brush of paint. I use a few to cut out the walls in my basement and the flatter, thinner profile was just what I needed to keep the paint on the false ceiling's metal frame. They are great for watercolor beginners to wet large areas. Not bad brushes, but at first they lose a little, and the little one has bent, bent bristles, I cut them off. They are also good for applying craft glue. Good inexpensive brushes.
