Do not use filters or water softeners
Don't buy them unnecessarily. The water in my area is bad so we bought this to have clean water, then we bought a water monitor that checks how many contaminants we have and with this filter we have 54 without it we have 51. Also, it only lasts for about a month before you have to spend more money on another one
