It works well as it removes makeup perfectly, even waterproof mascara. That's my fault but I assumed it was unscented because it claims to be very gentle and works well on sensitive skin. My skin is so sensitive that I can't put perfume on my face. Scent preferences vary from person to person. So it smells very cheap to me. I can't pinpoint it with my finger, but it reminds me of the soap I had when I was a little kid. It is an intense, unattractive scent. It also seems quite dry leaving my skin tight, red and irritated. This is probably a great cleanser for many people. I'm just not one of them.
