My printer is 10 years old, has printed well over 15,000 pages and shows no signs of slowing down. The only thing that confuses me is the cost of the toner. The price per page seems to be just under 10 cents per page, which was competitive when I got the printer, but newer printers seem to work better. However, I just can't bring myself to replace anything. that rarely jams, prints documents quickly and with consistent quality, and is a real workhorse. I've tried a few remanufactured cartridges or other brand cartridges that were MUCH cheaper to be honest but had constant alignment issues. I'm not happy that I have to shell out almost half the cost of the printer for a new refill of cartridges, but I know I'll live off it for a whole year.
