. It's a little tricky to hit, but it's probably okay if you drop it or accidentally turn it over in your purse. To open it, I stick my fingernail under the plastic cover and it slides out. I couldn't open it by twisting or pulling the plastic cover. Once the lid was off I used the nail again to remove the screen. I put my physical strength into it and filled it a little over 1/4 full. Based on some other reviews I chose not to fill it halfway. The amount I put in there is fine and if I have to remove the strainer again it should be a mess now. I like the size and it easily fits in my pocket. It's made of hard plastic, so don't think it will be high quality, beautiful and fashion when you get it! It holds our powder and puff pastry, and it does just that!
