3 day cure so you really need to protect your workplace.

So I can't blame him for what he does. It is manufactured and listed as a slow-curing resin, mainly because of its deep castability, meaning that faster-curing resins will generate too much heat with the amount of resin you intend to use. So you have to make sure that when you get it, you keep it in mind, and not just because it's a large amount. As long as you're buying it for large quantities like tables, countertops, etc., this is a great deal from Hippie Crafter. If you take care of it, it's a good pourable resin. The mix is a bit thinner than other brands I've used which really helped get the resin into all the crevices. There was plenty of time to pour into the deep mold I tested and even with lots of small knots and bits the resin found its way with ease. I didn't have to do any more than usual, work off the blisters. Maybe a little less. The curing time is really long in this case and since the resin is more liquid than usual it means you have to be careful with glitter or other things that make the floor heavier. The same goes for inks, but for them I take advantage of the need to inject the ink and let the resin cure for a while before injecting the ink. For convenience, this is best if you want the resin to be clear, or you can mix the pigment powder thoroughly and evenly throughout the batch. Overall good price, good quality, easy to prepare for long curing and cleaning the area from dust, hair, etc.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
