I recently switched back to bar soap as I wanted to save money on shower products as I had to shower twice a day at work during the pandemic. These little pouches are soft but contain enough fibers to make them easy to exfoliate without being abrasive. Rubbing the fiber against the bar of soap while washing actually increases the lather compared to what you would get with a single bar of soap. The sisal fiber also absorbs oils and bar odors, and I noticed that after I showered, the soapy smell on my skin was stronger. I'm a man and it's soft enough for your face and naughty parts. You also don't waste soap because the pouch keeps the bar in place even after shrinking and breaking. It also hangs comfortably on my shower rod. I've used Dove White Beauty Bars with these sachets and have noticed that my skin is visibly less dry and softer. NOTE: The sachets give off a slight odor of hay or dry wood when taken out of the box (warning notice on packaging), but this quickly dissipates after first use. If you use bar soap, be sure to try it!
